Dr. Samuel's Bio.

Growing up in a Chiropractic and Health oriented family Dr. Samuel has not had the injuries and problems that most people have. Through the guidance of his Mother and the wish do help people every day he was guided to become a Doctor. At first the thought of a medical Doctor, Osteopath, or other specialists were possibilities. But during undergrad Dr. Samuel did extensive research into each of the possible field's. After much deliberation he decided that Chiropractic was the best. There is a place for drugs and surgery, but with all the chronic health issues, and all the side effects that most of these "cures" have. In Dr. Samuel opinion Natural Health care, through Chiropractic, Nutrition, and a proper lifestyle, is a safer healthier way to cure some of these problems.

After attending school, Dr. Samuel Henley is the only second generation Chiropractor in Columbia and pleased to return to the area to practice.

Dr. Henley studied at Moberly Area Community College before pursing an education in Chiropractic at Logan University in St. Louis. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology at Logan, and went on to receive a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Logan College of Chiropractic. Dr. Henley has studied a variety of chiropractic and alternative health-care techniques including acupuncture, Sacro Occipital technique, active release technique, Thompson technique, Diversified Technique, and Activator Instrument assisted adjusting. Dr. Henley is also board certified in Physiotherapy though the NBCE and K-Laser certified in Class 4 Laser therapies.

Dr. Henley has a special interest in working to rehabilitate athletes in order to help them reach their optimal performance potential. In addition to his professional interests, Dr. Henley also enjoys maintaining his own health through nutrition, martial arts, and regular chiropractic care. He and his wife, Crystal, currently reside in Columbia with their loving pets.
